Deputy Chairman of Russia to the UN said that he did not know anything about the military threat from the Russian Federation

Dmitry Polyansky, Deputy Representative of Russia to the UN, said that the Russian military is on the territory of the Russian Federation and does not pose a threat to anyone. It is reported by RIA Novosti.

Earlier, Mirror wrote that despite the fact that Russia announced the return of part of the troops after the exercises to their places of permanent deployment, 130,000 soldiers still remain on the eastern and southern borders of Ukraine.

“I am not aware of any threats... Our military on our territory does not pose a threat to anyone,” the diplomat said.

The Western media announced specific dates for the start of Russia's "full-scale invasion" of Ukraine. The German edition of Spiegel reported that the “Russian attack” would take place on February 16th. In Kiev itself, they did not find the prerequisites for this, said Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.

Polyansky said there was no reason for Russia to invade Ukraine on February 16.
