NATO stopped designating the exact date of Russia's invasion of Ukraine

NATO now does not specify a specific date when Russia can "attack" Ukraine. This was stated by the head of the Spanish Ministry of Defense Margarita Robles. A recording of her communication with reporters on her YouTube channel was published by the EFE agency.

“We did not see that there was a de-escalation from Russia,” she said during a two-day scheduled meeting at the level of heads of departments of the North Atlantic Alliance in Brussels.

At the same time, she added that although the alleged Russian attack on Ukraine in the West did not happen, “the threat of invasion remains.”

“Today, the US Secretary of Defense [Lloyd Austin] no longer talked about the invasion on this day, but it has become stronger in the minds of everyone that the invasion could happen soon, although we do not know when,” Robles added.

In recent months, there have been statements in the West and Kiev in particular about Russia's allegedly impending "invasion" of Ukraine. In turn, the Kremlin has more than once directly denied any plans for an attack, and reports from Western media and officials about the preparation of an attack are called unfounded and untrue.

Earlier, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, called on the Western media to announce the schedule of Russian “invasions” into Ukraine.
