“If it is possible to maintain full-time education and this does not conflict with the epidemic situation, then there is no need to rush to switch to remote learning,” the minister said. In his opinion, a full-time or mixed format is much better than a completely remote one, but in general it all depends on the situation in a particular region and even at a particular university.

The minister recalled that universities are autonomous in making decisions, and since the situation with COVID-19 in the subjects of the Russian Federation is different, it makes no sense to make any one centralized decision at the level of the ministry.
