“In accordance with the training plan for the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, formations and military units that have completed training tasks at the training grounds are marching to their permanent deployment points in a combined way,” the ministry said in a statement.

According to him, the echelons with heavy military equipment of the units of the Southern Military District, which worked out tasks at the training grounds in the Crimea, arrived in Chechnya and Dagestan.

Konashenkov said that units of the 1st Tank Army of the Western Military District (ZVO), which performed tasks at the training grounds in the Kursk and Bryansk regions, were arriving at their military garrisons in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

Also, the logistics units of the Western Military District, which worked out tasks at the training grounds in the Kursk region, arrived in Dzerzhinsk.

Earlier, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that the alliance sees no signs of de-escalation around Ukraine.
