Russia (bbabo.net), - Russia will send its written response to the US today on security assurances. This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov.

"We are completing the analysis of the American letter. I hope that in the very near future you will learn how the situation will develop further," he said, RIA Novosti reports.

The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry also said that the contents of this letter will be in the public domain. "Because if everything is kept secret, as our colleagues from Washington and Brussels do, public opinion will be filled with lies and outright propaganda," Lavrov added.

Recall that earlier the United States and NATO sent to Moscow their responses to Russia's proposals on security guarantees.
