The commander of the operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donbass estimated the chances of starting a full-scale war

Commander of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) of Ukraine in the Donbass, Lieutenant General Oleksandr Pavlyuk assessed the chances of starting a full-scale war with Russia, Interfax reports.

“We don’t see the likelihood of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine now,” Pavlyuk said.

He noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine keep the situation under control.

“The situation in the zone of the Joint Forces Operation remains tense throughout the day, but it is controlled. The Joint Forces are in constant combat readiness,” Pavlyuk explained.

Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky came to the Ukrainian military at the front line in Donbass.

In recent months, media and politicians in the West and Ukraine have been claiming that Russia is allegedly preparing a "large-scale invasion" of Ukraine. Moscow denies such claims.
