Lukashenko: West has lost the first round of its campaign against Belarussia

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko believes that the republic and Russia have to respond to the actions of the West, which has already lost the "first round". It is reported by REN TV.

The Belarusian leader assessed the situation around Minsk and Moscow at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“I think that here, too, they [the West] are unlikely to succeed, they lost the first round very badly, today I’m already looking: they go to the second round, they scare the whole world that “tomorrow” we will attack Ukraine, encircle it, destroy and so on,” Lukashenka stressed.

According to the President of Belarus, such plans with an "invasion" or "attack" never existed.

On February 18, Lukashenka arrived in Moscow. On the same day, he began negotiations with Putin in the Kremlin.

The next day, February 19, Lukashenka may take part in joint exercises with the Russian Federation of strategic deterrence forces.
