The representative of the people's militia of the DPR, Eduard Basurin, said that on February 18, Ukraine made three attempts to sabotage the Donbass. He announced this on the air of the Russia 1 TV channel.
According to him, about 200 shells and mines were fired at the DPR in the morning.
“But the main danger was different: there were three attempts to carry out sabotage. This is in Yelenovka and two in Gorlovka,” he said.
Earlier, a powerful explosion thundered a few tens of meters from the building of the DPR government building in the center of Donetsk. It is reported by RIA Novosti from the scene.
According to the agency, fire is visible at the site of the explosion, nearby buildings are not damaged. There is no information about victims yet.

According to preliminary data, it happened around 19:00. The blast wave was heard by the whole city. The Ministry of Emergency Situations went to the place of the explosion.
According to Interfax, the car belonged to Denis Sinenkov, head of the People's Militia of the DPR. He himself was not injured in the incident.
