Russia (bbabo.net), - Vladimir Putin said that the joint exercises of Russia and Belarus do not threaten anyone. The President of the Russian Federation stressed that they are purely defensive in nature.

“We jointly gave a high assessment to the Allied Resolve-2022 exercises, the active phase of which will last in Belarus until February 20. I must state that these exercises are purely defensive in nature and do not threaten anyone,” Putin said at a joint statement following the talks in the Kremlin with President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.

Russia and Belarus are checking the response forces of the Union State. At the first stage - until February 9 - there was a redeployment and the creation of groupings of troops. At the second stage - from February 10 to February 20 - the joint exercise "Allied Resolve-2022" is being held.
