"The Government of the Rostov Region held a meeting of the Commission for the Prevention and Elimination of Emergencies. It decided to introduce a high alert regime on the territory of the Rostov Region from February 18," the message says.

In order to organize work on the reception of refugees, an operational headquarters was created under the government of the Rostov region. Temporary accommodation centers have been prepared to accommodate citizens of the DPR and LPR. TACs are planned to be deployed on the basis of existing health camps, sanatoriums, recreation centers, for a total of 3274 places.

In the coming hours, the number of places for accommodation is planned to increase to 10 thousand. In the future, an increase in the number of accommodation places for arriving citizens will be carried out taking into account the development of the situation. Accommodation facilities provide food and medical care.
