Moldova (bbabo.net), - A meeting of political representatives of Pridnestrovie and Moldova Vitaly Ignatiev and Oleg Serebrian took place in the Tiraspol office of the OSCE Mission. It was also attended by representatives of mediators and observers in the Moldovan-Pridnestrovian negotiation process, novostipmr.com reports.
In the 1+1 format, Vitaly Ignatiev and Oleg Serebryan discussed the problems associated with the unjustified detention of Pridnestrovian goods in the Republic of Moldova. Let us recall that we are talking about blanks of license plates of the Pridnestrovian type, as well as about radio stations. In addition, the issue of delivery of specific drugs for the needs of cancer patients in Pridnestrovie was raised.
The Pridnestrovian side emphasized that the solution of these problems is entirely within the competence of political representatives, in accordance with mutual agreements between the parties.
“The existing agreements of the negotiation process were clearly cited, guaranteeing the use of Pridnestrovian license plates and Pridnestrovian symbols in general, which confirms the inadmissibility of the current restrictive measures of the Republic of Moldova. Regarding the import of radio stations and medicines to Pridnestrovie, attention was drawn to the need to resolve these problematic aspects as soon as possible in order to prevent additional humanitarian difficulties for the inhabitants of Pridnestrovie," the message on the website of the Pridnestrovian Foreign Ministry said.
Also, Vitaly Ignatiev and Oleg Serebryan touched upon the problems of the operation of vehicle registration points, including the possibility of registering Pridnestrovian ambulances in them after the resumption of the work of the PRTS.
Meetings of a number of specialized expert (working) groups were scheduled, and the next meeting in the “1 + 1” format was preliminarily agreed upon at the end of next week in Chisinau. In addition, Vitaly Ignatiev confirmed the readiness of the Pridnestrovian side for rhythmic work within the 5+2 format.
