Russia - Popova assessed the situation with COVID-19 in the Rostov region due to refugees

Russia (bbabo.net), - The situation with coronavirus in the Rostov region has not changed due to refugees from Donbass, but the region is at the peak of incidence. This was stated by the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova.

According to her, no infectious diseases have been detected among the arrived refugees.

"But I would like to draw your attention to the fact that only 10% of those who arrived at the TAPs, only 10% can be controlled, all the rest - only at checkpoints," Popova specified (quoted by TASS).

The head of the department noted that about 2.3 million test systems for COVID-19 will be additionally delivered to the region in the near future.

Earlier, Popova said that refugees would be tested for coronavirus at their places of residence, and not at the border.
