The head of the Servant of the People faction in the Ukrainian Rada, David Arakhamia, recorded several videos in which he said that he, along with a group of deputies and foreign journalists, came under fire in the Donbass. Yulia Paliychuk, press secretary of the faction, reported this on Telegram.

The shelling took place at one of the positions where the forces of the Ukrainian army are located. The deputies were evacuated to a shelter along with representatives of the foreign press. According to Strana.ua with reference to the adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Anton Gerashchenko, the head of the department Denis Monastyrsky also came under fire.

Arakhamia said that the place where they were was not in the area where local residents lived. He noted that 122 mm shells were used when firing.

“Our observation post was outside the territory where civilians live. In general, no one needed to shoot there without special need. All, thank God, are alive, sat out. There were about 10-12 shells,” said the head of the faction.

Earlier, deputies of the Verkhovna Rada brought drones for the Ukrainian military.
