Shuichi Tokuda, deputy head of the European Affairs Bureau of the Japanese Foreign Ministry, said in an interview that his country will ensure its security, taking into account the conflict between the United States and Russia.

“We can say that we have always had a frank dialogue on security issues between Japan and Russia. Of course, we pay great attention to the security of the entire region. Here we will always act together with our ally the United States, given their relationship with Russia,” the diplomat said.
