The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said that it is time for Europe to send a clear signal to Kiev about EU membership

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said that Europe should send a clear signal to Kiev about EU membership. He announced this at a briefing, TASS reports.

“We urge partners to put aside any doubts and unfounded warnings and clearly say: “Ukraine is part of us, we are a single whole,” he said.

He stressed that such a measure would be a definite signal for Russia.

Earlier, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell said that the EU has not spent more money on any state than on Ukraine.

Prior to this, the official representative of the European Commission Peter Stano reported that the issue of Ukraine's membership in the European Union is not on the agenda.

Vice-President of the European Commission Valdis Dombrovskis said that Kiev's implementation of the association agreement with the European Union will pave the way for the next possible steps to integrate the state into the association.
