The representative office of the self-proclaimed Lugansk People's Republic (LPR) at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) stated that two civilians were killed as a result of shelling of the territory of the LPR by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
“As a result, two civilians of the republic were killed, and one residential building in the LADA horticultural cooperative was completely destroyed,” the representative office said in a statement.
They reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out nine attacks on the territory of the LPR with 120-mm shells prohibited by the Minsk agreements.
Earlier, a representative of the People's Militia of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic (LPR), Ivan Filiponenko, said that three civilians of the republic were injured as a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to Filiponenko, in the Slavic-Serbian direction, servicemen of the 57th separate motorized infantry brigade fired 120-mm mortars at the village of Prishib, as a result of which one house was destroyed and one civilian received a traumatic amputation of the lower limb.
He also said that in the village of Znamenka, “two civilians received shrapnel wounds, damage was also recorded to the roofs of two residential buildings and glazing was damaged,” the report says.
