Russia (bbabo.net) - The authorities of the Trans-Baikal Territory declared their readiness to accept refugees who left the Lugansk and Donetsk People's Republics, the press service of the region's government reported on Monday.

"In such situations, we definitely cannot stand aside. If necessary, we will accept evacuees. Places and conditions need to be worked out, to see what reserves are. But the position in this part is fundamental: we will not abandon people and will help," in the message the words of the vice-premier of the regional government Andrey Kefner.

Readiness to host refugees from Donbass was expressed by about 30 regions of Russia. For this purpose, points of temporary stay are being set up in sanatoriums, boarding houses and social institutions, and points for collecting humanitarian aid are being organized.

To date, more than 60 thousand residents of Donbass have crossed the Russian border.
