The Ninth Arbitration Court of Appeal considered justified and subject to satisfaction the claims of the Krymenergo state enterprise against the former Vice Prime Minister and one of the organizers of the energy blockade of Crimea, Lenur Islyamov, in a claim in the amount of 1.1 billion rubles. This is stated in the court ruling in the file of arbitration cases.

According to the document, the claim of "Krymenergo" is subject to satisfaction at the expense of the property remaining after settlement with creditors, which are included in the register of claims of the debtor's creditors. The decision can be appealed within one month from the date of manufacture in full in the Arbitration Court of the Moscow District

In December 2020, the Supreme Court of Crimea sentenced Islyamov to 19 years in prison in a strict regime colony. The Third Court of Appeal commuted the verdict, canceling one of the articles on which Islyamov was accused due to the ensuing decriminalization - public calls to carry out actions aimed at violating the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation using the media.

Since the organizer of the energy blockade of Crimea is wanted, the term of punishment for him will begin from the moment he is handed over to law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation as a result of extradition, deportation or detention on the territory of Russia.

In 2014, Islyamov left for Ukraine and created an illegal armed formation in the Kherson region - the Crimean Tatar volunteer battalion named after Noman Chelebidzhikhan. The battalion was formed for the blockade of Crimea by Ukraine, as well as the armed struggle for the return of the Crimean peninsula under the jurisdiction of Kiev.
