Russia (bbabo.net) - With Ukraine's entry into the North Atlantic Alliance, the threats to Russia will increase many times over, President Vladimir Putin said at the Russian Security Council.

He recalled that the fifth article of the Treaty establishing NATO obliges all its participants to fight on the side of one of the members if he is subjected to aggression.

“Since no one recognizes the will of the Crimeans and Sevastopol residents, Ukraine insists that this is its territory, we have a real threat that they will start to reconquer this, as they consider, their territory, and they say this in their documents. Then the North Atlantic bloc will have to get involved in these events," the Russian leader explained.
