The Ukrainian side continues to inflict massive strikes on residential areas of the Donetsk People's Republic, according to the People's Militia of the DPR.

The department records the facts of artillery shelling of residential areas of Donetsk, as a result of which a civilian was slightly injured. Also, a civilian car was damaged due to the explosion of shells.

According to the People's Militia, various damages were caused to five residential buildings in Donetsk, as well as interruptions in the operation of the low-pressure gas pipeline, which stopped the gas supply to 35 residential buildings.

According to the People's Militia, the attacks are carried out by the 54th brigade of the Ukrainian army.

New attacks on Donetsk are taking place against the backdrop of popular rejoicing organized by the inhabitants of the city after Russia recognized the independence of the Luhansk and Donetsk People's Republics.
