"The city handed over to the investor a building in the Mozhaisk district with an area of ​​​​3 thousand square meters. Here the company will create a world-class geriatric center under a concession agreement signed last year. The center is designed for at least 100 places for living and permanent care for the elderly. It will be equipped with everything the necessary equipment, taking into account the peculiarities of life, health and the needs of the elderly. Investments in the creation and equipping of the boarding house will amount to more than 600 million rubles."

The city does not intend to invest its own funds, Yefimov noted. But the future geriatric center will remain the property of the capital. The concession agreement was signed for 20 years. In two years, the investor will reconstruct the facility, and over the next 18 years will provide patient care services.

Alexander Prokhorov, Head of the Investment and Industrial Policy Department, shared the details: "The center is scheduled to be put into operation in 2023. The concessionaire will maintain the center, its maintenance and overhaul. Aleksey Sidnev, CEO of the investor firm, promised that older Muscovites with poor health and serious chronic diseases would be able to drastically improve their quality of life, live as independently as possible, and receive round-the-clock medical care.
