“Today there is no need for general mobilization. We need to quickly complete the Ukrainian army and other military formations,” Zelensky said in a video message.
The head of state pointed out that he, as the supreme commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, had issued a decree on calling up reservists during a special period. He stressed that it is only about the citizens included in the operational reserve.
The President also informed that "training camps for reservists of the defense system will be held in the near future."
Earlier it was reported that the heads of enterprises in Ukraine received letters from military registration and enlistment offices with registration forms for those liable for military service. By April 1, 2022, businessmen were obliged to submit lists of men aged 18-60 years old liable for military service and women subject to mobilization.
Along with this, the official representative of the DPR People's Militia, Eduard Basurin, said that mercenaries from a foreign PMC and Right Sector fighters (an organization banned in Russia) arrived in Donbass.
The Federation Council of the Russian Federation stated that there would be no full-scale war in the Donbass as long as it depends on Moscow.
