The authorities of the DPR introduced an emergency regime due to the cessation of centralized drinking water supply as a result of damage to the pumping station of the South Donbass water pipeline. The reason was the massive shelling of the Ukrainian army. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, more than 21 thousand residents of Dokuchaevsk and Yelenovka, as well as over 50 social facilities, including boiler houses, hospitals, kindergartens and schools, were left without water.
