Russia and the CIS (bbabo.net) - A delegation of the Bahrain Business Women's Association, headed by its president, Ahlyam Janakhi, visited Moscow to discuss issues of developing cooperation with Russian Muslim women.

Rushan Abbyasov, Deputy Chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation, met with distinguished guests. He noted that Muslim organizations are making a great contribution to the strengthening of cooperation between the Russian Federation and Bahrain. A significant role in this belongs to Muslim women who take an active part in the activities of these communities.

As an example, Abbyasov cited the exhibition “Made in Russia. Halal".

Representatives of the Bahraini business were told about the contribution of Russian Muslim women to the development of health care, culture and education, as well as to the preservation of traditional values, the press service of the Russian Spiritual Muslim Board said.

Business projects implemented by Russian Muslim women were also discussed.

At the end of the meeting, the guests expressed their readiness to develop cooperation.

In March 2021, the head of the delegation of the Bahrain Business Women's Association met with the Russian Ambassador to the Kingdom, discussing with him the prospects for developing cooperation through women's organizations.
