Ukrainian Prime Minister Shmyhal said it was impossible to fulfill Putin's demands

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said that it is impossible to fulfill the demands voiced by Russian President Vladimir Putin. The Ukrainian politician announced this on the air of the ICTV channel.

Earlier, Putin said that it is necessary to recognize Crimea as Russian and Kiev to refuse to join NATO, then the situation around Ukraine can be resolved.

The head of the Russian state specified that Ukraine's refusal to join NATO and neutrality would be the best solution to the conflict between Kiev and Moscow.

He also invited Western countries to recognize the decision of the inhabitants of Crimea and Sevastopol to reunite with Russia, as happened in the situation with Kosovo. Putin stressed that no one drove the inhabitants of Crimea to the polling stations at gunpoint or under bayonets, they came voluntarily and made their decision to reunite with Russia.

“For an independent, sovereign Ukraine and for me as the prime minister of our state, this is impossible,” Shmyhal said.

Earlier, White House press secretary Jen Psaki said at a press conference that the United States is observing “little green men” throughout eastern Ukraine who behave “like the Russian military.”
