Russia and the CIS (bbabo.net) - Charitable Foundation "Zakat" of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Tatarstan will provide humanitarian assistance to refugees from the Donetsk People's Republic and the Luhansk People's Republic, evacuated to Russia.

It is planned that they will be given food packages and essentials. At the moment, everything necessary is being collected from caring residents of the republic.

Earlier it became known that Tatarstan is ready to accept 1,000 refugees from Donbass. Residents of the DPR and LPR will be placed in the sanatoriums of the republic. An operational headquarters has been formed in the government of Tatarstan to coordinate activities for the temporary accommodation of those arriving from Donbass.

The mukhtasibat of the Rostov region bordering Ukraine also announced its readiness to provide assistance to refugees from Donbass. Imam-muhtasib of the Rostov region Nail Kulakhmetov said that the Rostov muhtasibat is ready to temporarily accommodate up to 200 refugees in prayer houses and cultural centers.
