FBI announces results of investigation into arson and shooting at mosque

In the United States, FBI investigators concluded that the suspect in the Dearborn mosque arson and shooting incident had no political or ideological motives.

Earlier it was reported that 37-year-old Michigan resident Ahmed Taky allegedly set fire to the al-Huda mosque in Dearborn, and at the sight of the police opened fire and tried to escape. As a result of return fire from the police, Taka was killed.

FBI special agent Josh Hawkhurst spoke at a press conference following the investigation and said that Taki was not a member of any extremist or political groups and had no ideological views. With this in mind, the main version remains the mental illness of the deceased, reports bbabo.net with reference to Fox2Detroit.

The mosque administration thanked the police and the FBI for promptly investigating and ensuring the security of the religious building.
