The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has registered a draft appeal to expel Russia from the Council of Europe. The document is posted on the government website.

“Draft resolution on the Appeal of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to the Council of Europe on the termination of the membership of the Russian Federation in the Council of Europe,” says the title of the document, the text of which is not yet available.

A similar appeal was registered to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).

Earlier, Verkhovna Rada deputy Oksana Savchuk, who is not a member of any faction, registered a draft appeal to the UN with a proposal to exclude Russia from the organization.

The document entitled "Draft Resolution on the appeal of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to the General Assembly of the United Nations regarding the exclusion of the Russian Federation from the membership of the United Nations" was registered on Wednesday, February 22.
