Senator: Russian parliament is ready to make additional decisions in connection with the operation in Ukraine

The Russian Parliament is ready to take additional decisions in connection with the operation against Ukraine, said Vladimir Dzhabarov, First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Foreign Affairs. It is reported by RIA Novosti.

According to the senator, the Russian parliamentarians will make separate decisions if they are needed.

“So far, I am not aware of any additional documents requiring parliamentary decisions, but if they are required, the parliament will adopt them,” Dzhabarov stressed.

He clarified that when a decision was made regarding the conduct of a military operation in Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin acts strictly within the framework of the country's Constitution and powers.

At the same time, Dzhabarov noted that he came to work, despite the open sick leave.

“I want to support the president,” the Russian senator concluded.
