“Russian military aggression against the sovereignty of Ukraine, the people and democracy is absolutely unacceptable. It is Putin's responsibility to stop it immediately. Latvia cooperates closely with partners in the EU and NATO. we call for consultations in NATO,” he wrote.
Also, Latvian Foreign Minister Edgar Rinkevich said in an interview with Latvian Radio that the country's diplomats "for some time" will be evacuated from the territory of Kiev to the west of Ukraine - to Lviv. Rinkevich called on the citizens of Latvia to evacuate from Ukraine. The Latvian authorities will help to carry it through Lvov.
