Russia - Rostourism has opened a hot line for air passengers

Russia (bbabo.net), - Rostourism has launched a call center for tourists on issues related to the temporary closure of a number of Russian airports. The hotline will operate daily from 08:00 to 20:00 at 8-(800)-200-34-11. The call is free.

As reported on the website of the department, now in the regions of Russia where the work of air harbors has been suspended, there are about 150 thousand tourists, including 25 thousand organized ones. Most of them are in the Crimea and the Krasnodar Territory.

They were given an alternative opportunity to travel on special additional trains launched by Russian Railways. Information about them can be obtained by calling the unified information service center of Russian Railways +7 800 775-00-00. Train tickets are purchased on the Russian Railways website or in the carrier's official application, as well as at the box office. Some tour operators organized export bus trips.

Recall, according to the Federal Air Transport Agency, in connection with the situation around Ukraine, the operation of airports in Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, Anapa, Gelendzhik, Elista, Lipetsk, Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Voronezh and Simferopol has been suspended. Restrictions are valid until 03:45 on the second of March.

Rostourism strongly recommends postponing trips to regions of the country where airports have been suspended. Coordinate with the tour operator and reschedule the tours to later dates or change the direction of the holiday.

Now the department’s specialists, together with the Ministry of Transport, are compiling a list of tourists who cannot fly to Russia from abroad due to the temporary closure of a number of airports. They are advised to keep in touch with tour operators and airline representatives.

The website stafftourism.rf has launched an online form for receiving applications from tourists who cannot leave regions with closed airports or have difficulty returning to these regions.
