Muslims of Tyumen paid tribute to the victims of deportation

Russia and the CIS (bbabo.net) - A commemorative event dedicated to the anniversary of the deportation of Chechens and Ingush to the steppes of Kazakhstan in February 1944 was held yesterday at the prayer house of the Vainakh religious group in Tyumen.

The deputy mufti of the RDUM of the Tyumen region Amir Baldin and the head of the youth department of the spiritual administration Zufar Mukhametshin also took part in the collective prayer.

“Among the participants in the memorial event were elders who personally experienced deportation, who were born in different regions of Kazakhstan during exile,” Amir-hazrat told bbabo.net news agency. “We heard the stories of the elderly about those tragic events, memories that, insha Allah, will be passed down from generation, thanks to the children who also participated in the prayer and the famous dhikr of the Qadiri Tariqa.”

Representatives of the RDUMTO expressed condolences to the fraternal peoples, thanked the leadership of the religious group for the invitation and hospitality.

The prayer house of the Vainakh Muslim religious group is located on the western outskirts of Tyumen, not far from the Roschino international airport.
