In fact, people who find themselves in a difficult situation will only have to pay a small state fee, provided for by the Tax Code. For example, issuing a power of attorney for transactions will cost 200 rubles, making a will will cost 100 rubles.

"The country's notaries are taking all measures to ensure access to qualified legal assistance of a notary not only for all residents of Russia, but also for people forced to seek asylum in our country," said Konstantin Korsik, President of the Federal Notary Chamber.

A 100 percent discount on payment for services of a legal and technical nature will be applied when performing so-called socially significant notarial acts. For example, certificates of all types of powers of attorney, consents and wills. Also, the benefit will be valid for the transfer of documents to individuals, certification of the equivalence of a paper document to an electronic one, etc. In the near future, residents of the DPR and LPR will be able to receive notarial assistance on preferential terms throughout Russia. In some regions, benefits are already in effect. Among them are the Leningrad, Kursk and Rostov regions. Now the FNP has sent a corresponding letter to all regional chambers of the country. The exemption from the collection of fees applies to all persons who lived on the territory of the DPR and left it after February 1, 2022.

According to the recommendation of the Federal Tax Service, such a benefit should be valid until May 1, 2022 and, if necessary, can be extended. All expenses of notaries associated with the introduction of additional benefits will be compensated by the Federal Notary Chamber at the expense of the notaries.

In turn, the Notary Chamber of the Leningrad Region emphasized that Russian notaries should not stand aside from providing all possible assistance in solving the problems of citizens who have suffered severe trials and losses.

We also recall that the Ministry of Justice sent mobile teams of state legal bureaus to some regions to consult citizens who arrived from the DPR and LPR. As they said the day before in the department, three cars specially equipped for on-site consultations with specialists from the state bureau of the Volgograd, Tambov regions and the Krasnodar Territory are moving between the points of temporary accommodation of evacuated citizens.

At consultations, people are primarily interested in the protection of their social rights.
