Russia - Trading networks in Moscow joined the collection of goods and products for refugees from Donbass

Russia (bbabo.net), - "Azbuka Vkusa", "Magnet", "Dixie" and others, a total of more than ten retail chains of the capital joined the collection of assistance to refugees from Donbass. This was announced by the director of the resource center "Mosvolonter" Alexander Levit.

"More than 900 citizens have already visited the center for humanitarian assistance to internally displaced persons from the republics of Donetsk and Luhansk. About 300-400 people come to us every day. 11 large companies, including the Azbuka Vkusa, Magnit and Dixy retail chains, joined the action in Moscow and brought lots of humanitarian products," Levit said.

Muscovites bring food products with a long shelf life so that they can reach the recipients. At the moment, citizens and companies participating in the action have already delivered more than 43 thousand goods, more than four tons of food and a thousand liters of water.

Stationery, bed linen and personal hygiene products are also delivered to collection points. “In addition, the townspeople are very welcoming and bring rugs for the home, slippers for refugees, one company brought 3,000 toothbrushes at once. And one girl gave 12 dolls to the children of refugees,” Alexander Levit.

The head of the resource center specified that unopened goods are accepted for refugees. He noted that volunteers need packaging material and boxes to transport humanitarian aid.
