Israeli ambassador summoned to Russian Foreign Ministry

The Russian Foreign Ministry summoned Israeli Ambassador to Moscow Alexander Ben Zvi. This was reported by the army radio Galey Tsakhal.

The publication says that “after the condemnation” of the Russian Federation by Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid, this diplomat was summoned to a meeting with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov.

Earlier, Lapid said that Jerusalem condemns "Russia's attack on Ukraine." According to him, this is a "violation of international law and order."

Prior to this, the OSCE condemned Russia's actions in Ukraine.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he had decided to conduct a military special operation to protect Donbass in response to a request for help from the heads of the LPR and DPR.

Ukraine severed diplomatic relations with Russia. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has submitted a bill on general mobilization to the Verkhovna Rada.
