Zakharova recalled Tyutchev's poem, describing the situation in the world

The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, cited a poem by the Russian poet Fyodor Tyutchev “Vain Labor”, describing the situation in the world. The diplomat wrote about this in her Telegram channel.

In her opinion, now this work is more relevant than ever.

“Vain labor - no, you can’t reason with them. The more liberal, the more vulgar they are. Civilization is a fetish for them. But her idea is inaccessible to them. No matter how you bend before her, gentlemen, you will not win recognition from Europe: in her eyes you will always be not servants of enlightenment, but slaves, ”Zakharova Tyutcheva quoted.

The day before, Zakharova said that Russia, in relations with the United States and the West, has approached the line, after which the “point of no return” begins.

Earlier, the United States imposed sanctions on Russian President Vladimir Putin, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, and Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, as well as other members of the Russian Security Council.
