Five civilians were killed, another 13 were injured by shelling of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic over the past day. This was informed in the representation of the DPR in the JCCC.

As noted, 23 settlements were subjected to shelling, as a result of which more than 50 residential buildings were damaged. In addition, 38 infrastructure facilities were damaged. The fire was aimed at them purposefully, the Donetsk news agency reports.

The shelling was carried out from the Grad MLRS, the Tochka-U missile system, artillery pieces of 152 and 122 mm caliber, mortars, grenade launchers, as well as small arms.

The fire on the settlements of the LPR was much weaker. According to the representative office of the republic in the JCCC, over the past day, Ukrainian security forces fired nine times on residential areas. As a result, civilians were killed and one more was injured.
