Russia (bbabo.net), - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov informed his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu by phone about the conduct of a special military operation by the Russian armed forces in cooperation with the people's militia units of the DPR and LPR in Ukraine.

The conversation took place at the request of the Turkish side. The focus was on comprehensive measures aimed at the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, ensuring the security of the civilian population and protecting the legitimate interests of the Russian Federation. They also noted the readiness of the Russian side for close cooperation with all constructive forces for the soonest sustainable settlement of the Ukrainian problem in the interests of peace and stability.
