"This information is false! The Republic of Moldova is a neutral state, and will continue to comply with the norms of this of the constitutional principle. Our country is in no way involved in the military conflict in Ukraine," reads a message published on the official Telegram channel of the government of the Republic of Moldova.

As stated in the communique, the authorities are taking all measures to ensure that the events in the region do not affect the security and peace of our citizens.

In this regard, the Moldovan leadership urges citizens to receive information only from official sources and not to disseminate unverified information that could provoke panic in society. "We must be vigilant and maintain restraint," they say in Moldova.
