“This situation led to the fact that Russia quite rightly put forward its demands to ensure its own security, but we saw that America did not respond to them and continued to act contrary to the fair solution of problems. We are just now observing the consequences of this, ”concluded Zo Ming Tun.

According to him, now in Ukraine "calls to kill Russians are being massively distributed." According to the general, there is a direct analogy with what happened in Myanmar a year ago, when the military removed the civilian government, and Western countries financed the opposition in Myanmar for years.

Vasily Nebenzya, Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN, said at a meeting of the Security Council that an information war against Russia was launched on social networks.

According to him, training manuals on how to remove fakes discrediting the Russian military operation are posted on social networks. Nebenzya noted that in total 1.2 million such false messages were posted on social networks. He also stated that statements about Russia's allegedly indiscriminate use of force in Ukraine, attacks on kindergartens and hospitals are lies and fakes.

In the same speech, the permanent representative said that the crisis in Ukraine began due to ignoring the crimes of neo-Nazis in the Donbass.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he had decided to conduct a military special operation to protect the Donbass in response to a request for help from the heads of the LPR and DPR.

Ukraine severed diplomatic relations with Russia. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has submitted a bill on general mobilization to the Verkhovna Rada.
