At least 1,800 refugees from Ukraine have arrived in Germany at the moment, Reuters reports citing a representative of the German Interior Ministry.

It is noted that we are talking about refugees who arrived in the country from Ukraine after the start of the Russian military operation.

The press secretary of the Czech Railways enterprise, Wanda Raynochova, previously claimed that the Czech Republic sent two trains for refugees to the border of Poland and Ukraine. As she noted, about 1,400 Ukrainian citizens will board the train.

Earlier it became known that the number of residents of Donbass evacuated to Russia exceeded 127 thousand people. It is noted that almost 80 thousand of them have Ukrainian citizenship, and more than 47 thousand have Russian passports.

The head of the EC, Ursula von der Leyen, also stated that the European Union is ready to accept Ukrainian refugees, as it has been preparing for various scenarios for a long time.
