Mask mode and social distancing canceled in Moscow

Russia and the CIS (bbabo.net) - Masks and other COVID restrictions have been canceled in Moscow. According to Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, from March 15, wearing masks in the capital is optional. In addition, Sobyanin announced the abolition of epidemiological restrictions for business. According to him, this should support businesses that are under sanctions pressure.

The following paragraphs of the decree dated June 8, 2020 have been declared invalid:

smoking hookahs in restaurants, bars, cafes and other public places;

mandatory use of masks and respirators;

compliance with social distancing;

Mandatory temperature measurement upon admission to workplaces.

On March 3, QR codes required to visit theaters, museums, sports competitions were canceled in Moscow, and restrictions on catering visits were lifted. Self-isolation for the elderly has become advisory.
