Irresponsible US foreign policy is pushing the world towards a third world war. Professor of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, John Saxe-Fernandez, writes about this in an article for the newspaper La Jornada.

“In terms of foreign policy, the irresponsible attitude of the United States to weighing the risks of the outbreak of a third world war and the postponement of decisions to control the emission of greenhouse gases that increase the temperature on our planet is striking,” writes Saxe-Fernandez.

According to him, American political leaders behave arrogantly, neglect tact in a multipolar world, and also reject the principle of state sovereignty at the UN. The author believes that the aggressive behavior of NATO and the United States threatens the existence of all mankind.

The author added that such Americans are pursuing such a dangerous foreign policy against the backdrop of a bioclimatic and capitalist catastrophe.
