Moldova (bbabo.net) - After the mass action in Balti, which took place on April 15, about a hundred cars with the flags of Moldova, Gagauzia, Russia, as well as St. George's banners, drove through the main streets of Comrat.
From the monument to the Soviet T-34 tank, the columns of cars set off along the central streets of the Gagauz capital to the stele at the northern entrance to Gagauzia.
Then the participants of the rally went to the Memorial of Military Glory in Comrat.
According to the organizer of the action, Comrat Municipal Councilor Vadim Anastasov, about a hundred cars took part in the rally. The goal of the participants of the action is to "get through" to the leadership of the country and not to ban the "St. George's Ribbon" in Moldova.
“We hope that the central authorities will hear us and Madame President will come to her senses and will not promulgate a law that contradicts the opinion of the inhabitants of the Republic of Moldova,” Vadim Anastasov said.
The action in Comrat was not of a political nature and brought together a variety of public and political figures. Among them are Mikhail Vlakh, Sergei Stoyanoglo, Viktor Petrov, Ivan Bessarab and Alexander Sukhodolsky.
They called on the leadership of Moldova not to sign the law adopted by the parliament, which splits the Moldovan society and harms the republic at the international level, reports the news portal Gagauzinfo.MD.
Order at the mass event was provided by police officers, as well as carabinieri.
