Russia and the CIS (bbabo.net) - From the beginning of the new school year, schoolchildren and their parents are waiting for innovations, follows from the speech of the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Kravtsov. Speaking at the all-Russian school forum “Strength in Truth”, he said that all Russian schools would introduce mandatory performance of the anthem. Students will sing it once a week.

Changes will also affect the history teaching system. This subject will be taught from the first grade. At the same time, in order to avoid additional workload, teachers will teach history within other subjects.

“‎For example, such knowledge can be given to children during lessons on the World around. On them, children will be able to learn something about their family. And also about the small homeland,” the minister said.
