Russia and the CIS (bbabo.net) - Head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov met in Moscow with Director of the Federal Security Service Alexander Bortnikov.

“Since our last meeting, many different topics have accumulated, including problematic ones, for detailed discussion and professional assessment. Alexander Vasilievich and I came up with new ideas and an alternative vision of the topics covered. This will allow us to approach the solution of problematic issues in the region from a completely new and more advantageous position,” R. Kadyrov said.

The head of the region added that the current situation in the world and the unhealthy interest of Western countries in Russia are forcing the country to be more vigilant even to minor problems.

Kadyrov thanked Bortnikov for his invaluable contribution to ensuring state security.

As part of a working visit to Moscow, the head of Chechnya has already reported on meetings with the new head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Alexander Kurenkov, head of the presidential administration Anton Vaino, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, Kommersant notes.
