Russia and the CIS (bbabo.net) - Turkish media denied the information about the seizure of cargo from a Russian ship, which was allegedly engaged in the transportation of Ukrainian grain.

According to the newspaper Aydınlık, the contents of the ship were not seized, and with his statements about the “detention” of the ship, the Ukrainian ambassador to Turkey tried to lay a “political mine” in the grain corridor, which appeared due to the Russian-Turkish agreement.

It is indicated that Turkey continues to investigate. At the same time, the customs authorities refute both the "seizure" and the "detention" of the ship itself.

Prior to this, the national company "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" (Railways of Kazakhstan, KTZh) demanded that the Russian lessee of the cargo ship "Zhibek Zholy" clarify the origin of the grain transported from Berdyansk to Turkey. At the same time, the full legitimacy of the deal concluded between the Estonian Mangelbert OU and the Turkish side is emphasized. The seller is a company registered in the EU.
