The head of NATO was called a cheap rotten puppet of Washington, spitting in the eyes of the Kremlin

Paul Craig Roberts, formerly US Undersecretary of the Treasury for Economic Policy, wrote an article on his personal website in which he expressed his views on NATO and the Kremlin.

He called NATO head Jens Stoltenberg "Washington's cheap rotten puppet" who "spat her response in the Kremlin's eyes" to Russia's demands for security guarantees and "sent him to hell."

In his material, Roberts asked if the Kremlin would continue to pretend not to hear such a statement.

Roberts believes that in this situation the Kremlin is at a dead end, where it was led by its "pro-American intellectual class", as well as protest-minded citizens "paid for by the CIA".

Roberts believes that Moscow should have dealt with these issues immediately after the introduction of troops into Syria. He pointed out that it was then that the West, which decided to remove the government of Bashar al-Assad, was shocked that this plan had failed.

Earlier, the spokesman for the US State Department Ned Price said that the US will prepare a list of Russian actions that harm Western interests and values. Washington will do this in response to demands from Moscow, which had previously submitted its proposals for security in Europe to the US and NATO. Price noted that so far the Russian proposals have not allayed US concerns.
