Russia (bbabo.net) - Chairman of the State Duma Viacheslav Volodin told reporters what the main challenges, in his opinion, are facing the country in the coming year.

“Of course, the main challenge of 2022 is the coronavirus, which has not gone anywhere yet,” he said. “We have to think about how to continue living in a pandemic.”

He added that this challenge will continue to face not only our country, but the whole world.

“There are plenty of challenges at the international level,” Volodin continued, answering the relevant question. According to him, the main task of the State Duma deputies in these conditions is to legislate the decisions made by the head of state.

"Our foreign policy is quite effective. If it had been like this during the Soviet era, many problems would have been avoided," the speaker is sure.

The main internal challenge, according to him, is poverty. "This is what we need to overcome," the speaker reminded.
