Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the successful build-up of relations between Moscow and Pakistan, which have reached a high level.

He noted that active interaction takes place not only in bilateral, but also in multilateral formats. Among the most important areas in this regard are anti-terrorist and Afghan ones, the head of state added in a telegram posted by the Kremlin press service to the leadership of Pakistan in honor of the 75th anniversary of the country's independence.

According to him, the continuation of joint efforts is the key to further building up "the whole range of constructive Russian-Pakistani ties" in the interests of the peoples of both states and regional stability.
